John Drechny, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

John has worked for Walmart since 1998 holding various positions in Marketing, Financial Services and Treasury. In his current role he is responsible for Network/Acquirer relationships as well as Core processing of electronic transactions at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

John is the Chairman of the U.S. Payments Forum Steering Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Merchant Advisory Group.   He is also a member of Visa’s Executive Risk forum, MasterCard’s Point of Interaction group and Discover’s Merchant Advisory Council. He attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, where he received his Bachelor’s degree.
